The Antique Home Show with Dr. Lori

Do you have a fortune hiding in your attic? Dr. Lori, expert appraiser of History Channel’s #1 show The Curse of Oak Island will be at the show to tell show visitors all about their treasures – including the ever-important “What’s it worth?”.

Visitors should bring their treasured heirloom, collectible or antique to the Show. Photos are OK for larger items. Those with items for evaluation should arrive at The Antiques Home Show stage 30 minutes before Dr. Lori’s show times, one free item per person. No weapons.

Dream Home® Innovation Center

Cutting edge technology and “the next big thing” are the focus of this special showcase of the latest ideas and products for the home. From home entertainment and food preparation to energy-saving thermostats that “learn” your family’s household patterns, this is the place to see it first! Diverse businesses gather to show how your home can be specially built using the latest advances. This area is fully interactive – and lots of fun!

The Kitchen Idea Center

The Kitchen Idea Center will cover more than an acre of the region’s largest gathering of cabinets, accessories, lighting and counter surfaces. Find the latest ideas and trends in kitchens. Hundreds of kitchens and cooking exhibits are among the most popular attractions, all at the region’s most trusted marketplace for home and garden shopping. Come find your new Dream Kitchen!

The Ultimate Backyard

In the Garden Pavilion is The Ultimate Backyard with great prizes for outdoor living.

The Construction & Remodeling Center

In the Construction & Remodeling Center, hundreds of exhibits offer comparison shopping for windows, doors, siding, insulation, heating, and everything from foundations to roofs, a new closet to an entire new house.

The Pennsylvania Food & Wine Festival

The Pennsylvania Food & Wine Festival makes for tasty shopping with casual sampling from dozens of food purveyors. You will be able to taste test various delicious foods, sweets, wines, whiskies and much more.

The Home Interior Galleries

In the Home Interior Galleries, more than three hundred firms will show visitors exciting new ways to transform every space in their home. Furniture, accessories, lighting, artwork, and coverings for the floor, walls and windows are joined by skilled craftsmen, expert artisans, and design professionals who are glad to explain the latest trends.

The Farm to Table Area

Farm to Table promotes locally grown agriculture and improves access to fresh, healthy food. Be sure to stop by the Farm to Table section of the Show. There will be dozens of small local growers and food producers, plus daily programming of speakers and demonstrations. You will be able to try locally grown and owned foods, drinks and cheeses. Buy Fresh, Buy Local and experience a great sustainable way to eat fresh and healthy while supporting local farms and food purveyors.

Plus, Doug Oster, one of America’s best known gardening writers, will be on hand for presentations and advice throughout the show. Best of all, his advice is tailored to the needs of tri-state area gardening buffs!

The Pets at Home Aisle

The Pets At Home Aisle has everything for those other occupants of the home. Visitors can also meet cats, dogs, fish and birds who are looking for a new best friend.

The Children’s Village

Stop by the Children’s Village where your child can play games, read books, and learn to do spring arts and crafts. Add your spring craft to our giant greeting card which will be given to a local nursing home. There are plenty of seats for parents to rest. There is also a nursing station for those who would prefer a comfortable environment.

The TCA

The Fort Pitt Division of the TCA (Train Collectors Association) was established in 1977. It is one of the largest and most prestigious collectors societies in the world. Its mission is to preserve the history of tinplate toy trains and to promote the growth and enjoyment of the hobby. The TCA is a fan favorite of the show and the model trains are a must see!

Steel City LUG (LEGO Display)

Visit Steel City LUG – An adult LEGO users’ group that will be sharing their love of LEGO and bringing their creations for everyone to enjoy.

The John DeSantis River View Café

Named after the late Pittsburgh Home & Garden Show founder, The John DeSantis River View Café combines more than a dozen dining options at the Show, ranging from a quick bite to a sit-down meal.
