White House Cheif Floral Designer – Laura Dowling
Served as Chief Floral Designer from 2009-2015
As creative director for flowers and décor, Laura Dowling managed White House floral design for thousands of official and private events, including state dinners, parties, receptions and large-scale installations, such as the Fourth of July, Halloween and the iconic White House Christmas.
Her lush and lively floral creations also graced the White House state rooms, East and West Wing offices, Camp David and the Presidential private residence.
As Chief Floral Designer, Laura launched innovative strategic partnerships with the nation’s top artists and designers, creating imaginative, cutting-edge décor and flowers.
Laura is a long-time presenter and judge at the Philadelphia Flower Show, the nation’s oldest and largest flower expo, as well as a regular speaker at national, regional and local horticultural associations, garden clubs and museums. Her flower designs have been featured in design magazines and on Home and Garden Television (HGTV). She currently travels the country giving inspiring talks about her White House experience and her philosophy of floral artistry – with the goal of creating beauty wherever she goes.

Host of Barnwood Living – Mark Bowe

Mark Bowe, is currently the host of Magnolia Network’s Barnwood Builders, worked his way through West Virginia University as a coal miner, earning a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He is a craftsman, a businessman, a historian, and a passable break-dancer (if you give him enough room). Mark also holds a master’s degree in safety management from WVU’s College of Business. He founded his company, Antique Cabins and Barns, in 1995. In 2016 he expanded that business into what is today known as Barnwood Living. He and his longtime crew have reclaimed more than 500 pioneer-era structures. Mark is passionate about honoring the craft of America’s pioneer ancestors and is devoted to ensure their hard work lives for centuries to come.

The Pennsylvania Food & Wine Festival
The Pennsylvania Food & Wine Festival makes for tasty shopping with casual sampling from dozens of food purveyors. You will be able to taste test various delicious foods, sweets, wines, whiskies and much more.
The Home Interior Galleries
In the Home Interior Galleries, more than three hundred firms will show visitors exciting new ways to transform every space in their home. Furniture, accessories, lighting, artwork, and coverings for the floor, walls and windows are joined by skilled craftsmen, expert artisans, and design professionals who are glad to explain the latest trends.
The Farm to Table Area
Farm to Table promotes locally grown agriculture and improves access to fresh, healthy food. Be sure to stop by the Farm to Table section of the Show. There will be dozens of small local growers and food producers, plus daily programming of speakers and demonstrations. You will be able to try locally grown and owned foods, drinks and cheeses. The Pets at Home Aisle
The Pets At Home Aisle has everything for those other occupants of the home. Visitors can also meet cats, dogs, fish and birds who are looking for a new best friend.
The Children’s Village
Stop by the Children’s Village where your child can play games, read books, and learn to do spring arts and crafts. Add your spring craft to our giant greeting card which will be given to a local nursing home. There are plenty of seats for parents to rest. There is also a nursing station for those who would prefer a comfortable environment.
The TCA
The Fort Pitt Division of the TCA (Train Collectors Association) was established in 1977. It is one of the largest and most prestigious collectors societies in the world. Its mission is to preserve the history of tinplate toy trains and to promote the growth and enjoyment of the hobby. The TCA is a fan favorite of the show and the model trains are a must see!
Steel City LUG (LEGO Display)
Visit Steel City LUG – An adult LEGO users’ group that will be sharing their love of LEGO and bringing their creations for everyone to enjoy.
